Microstrip Patch Antenna Design for WLAN (5.4 GHz)
Published:
Overview
As part of the Antennensysteme course in my Master’s program in Electrical Systems at HTWG Konstanz, I designed and simulated a microstrip patch antenna for the 5.4 GHz WLAN band using Keysight EMPro.

The project focused on antenna parameters such as return loss, bandwidth, gain, and directivity, and compared the simulation results with literature values. Simulations were performed using both FEM and FDTD methods in EMPro.
